David Bekkering

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Linda Bekkering; children Cassie (Richard) Wnuk, and Billy (Jen) Bekkering; grandchildren Kourtney Wnuk, Nick Wnuk, Mike Wnuk, and Jacey Bekkering; great-granddaughter, Kennedy; siblings Roger (Karen) Bekkering, and Cal (Sally) Bekkering; special friend, Mike Dertine; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Dave was voted mechanic of the year twice while working for GFS for 37 years. He enjoyed tractor pulls, antiques, cars, tractors, and animals but, most of all, Dave loved his family. Dave was in the Army for two years.

Visitation with relatives and friends will be held from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Byron Center United Methodist Church, 2490 Prescott St SW, Byron Center.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 15, 2019, with visitation one hour prior, at Byron Center United Methodist Church, 2490 Prescott St SW, Byron Center. Pastor Jeff Cummings will officiate.
