David C. McClow

David C. McClow, age 75 went to be with his Lord, Monday, July 9, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents Clair McClow and Rose McClow. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Ron McClow, niece Rhonda (Robert) Tubben, nephew Matthew McClow, many cousins and special friend Michele.

David graduated from Grandville High School in 1955 and attended Kendall Art College, Davenport College and Grand Rapids Junior College. Afterwards he worked for C.B. Meyers, Meijers, Kelvinator, Montgomery Wards, G.R. Chair, Michigan Industrial Packaging and Stories Book Store. David boxed in the Golden Gloves 1955-56, ran track during High School and placed first in the mile. He loved to dance and performed in the Circle of Theater production Guys and Dolls and in The Pajama Game. Visitation with the family will be held from 12 noon a?" 1pm Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Cook Funeral Home (East Building) 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville. Funeral Service will be held at 1pm Thursday at Cook Memorial Chapel with Father Chris W. Rouech officiating. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
