Delores Ann Hall

Delores Ann Hall, 87, passed away January 13, 2019. Delores was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on June 14, 1931, and was known lovingly and alternately by her many family and friends as Delores, Dee, Dee-Dee, Auntie Dee, sister, daughter, mom, grandma and great-grandma. She wore many hats and served many roles during her long lifetime. Delores lived her life to give love and, in turn, was loved and cherished by many.

Delores was preceded in death by her soul-mate, Frank Henry Hall, whom she wed on July 23, 1949. She and Frank took great comfort in their membership in Grand Rapids First. Since her husband’s death in 2009, Delores lived a courageous life and continued her membership at Grand Rapids First. She also gave all her love to her family and friends but continued to miss her husband terribly. She is now with him, other family members and her Lord. She is happy.

Delores is survived by her four children and their spouses: Frank William Hall and wife, Bertha; Daniel Eugene Hall and wife, Fatrema; Ardis Lynne Tidd and husband, Gary; and, Steven Anthony Hall and wife, Kris; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Delores will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Grand Rapids First - Prayer Chapel, 2100 - 44th Street, SW, Wyoming, Michigan, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16 at Cook Funeral Home - West building, 4235 Prairie St., Grandville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trillium Woods - Faith Hospice.
