Dennis J. Dykstra

DYKSTRA- Dennis J. Dykstra, age 49 of Byron Center, was called home to Heaven on September 20, 2010, to spend eternity with his faithful Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley Dykstra. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; his children Meghan Dan Bolhuis, Tyler Ayren Dykstra, Ethan Dykstra, and Colton Dykstra. Dennis is also survived by his mother and step-dad, Bette and Tom Dykstra Bolt; his brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews, Jill Rick Lubbers and their children, Stephanie Nathan Kooi, Matthew and Whitney; Jodi Randy Hyma and their children, Justin, Brittany and Kaylie; Dean Michele Dykstra and their children, Eric, Leann, Ezekial, Noelle, Nehemiah and Zebulon; and Eric Corrine Dykstra; in-laws Bob and Alice DeYoung; brothers and sisters-in-law Robi Steve Rau and their children, Nic and Kellen; Pam Chuck Williams and their children, Kaitlyn Ryan VanderMolen, Jon and Matt; Scott Becky DeYoung and their children, Corinne, Evan, Christian, Brent and Tessa; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dennis enjoyed bicycling, hobby farming, basketball and had a passion for missions and discipleship.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, September 23 at Grace Community Church, 3500 New Holland Street, Hudsonville. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th Avenue.
