Diane Lyn Wustman

Diane Lyn Wustman, age 58, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, June 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Alice Mackey, her father-in-law, Bob Wustman and her brother-in-law, Rich Strick. Diane will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 years, Terry Wustman; her children, Tavia (Dan) VanderLaan, Devon (Amber) Wustman, Derek Wustman; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Gavin, Eion, Allison VanderLaan and Xander Wustman; her sisters, Linda Strick, Carol (Don) Velderman, Nancy Schaub; her mother-in-law, Virginia Wustman; her brothers- and sisters-in-law, Barb (Dan) Howarth, Tami Wustman, Jodi Wustman, Eric (Christy) Wustman; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Throughout her life she battled Multiple Sclerosis and she courageously fought cancer. Diane worked as a hairdresser for over 30 years.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Diane's family will be held from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 3, at Second Christian Reformed Church of Byron Center, 7588 Byron Center Ave. Pastor Chris Shearer will be officiating. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery. In honor of Diane, contributions may be made to Spectrum Health - Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion in Grand Rapids.
