I have fond memories of serving with Dick in the National Guard and later as one of my bosses at GM. When I first met him I knew right away that he was a stand-out quality individual and as time went by, it became evident that I was not mistaken. Anyone who even breathed the same air as Dick benefitted by his presence more than they even knew .
