Dick served his country faithfully during the Korean conflict. He had a full 42-year career at Packaging Corporation of America in Wyoming MI. Following his retirement, Dick drove school bus and spent much of his time volunteering within the Wyoming community. He served for over ten years with the Wyoming Fire Department, enjoyed teaching Sunday school at Wyoming Park United Methodist Church, and delivered church service tapes while calling on fellow members.
He was survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary Jane Younker, and will be deeply missed by his children Bruce (Marybeth) Younker, Diane (Dennis) Woodruff, and Brian Younker; grandchildren Matthew (Britt) Younker, Paul (Stacie) Younker, Jessica Younker, and Benjamin (Emily) Younker; great-grandchildren Kensley, Helayna, Jared, Andrica, and Harry; brother-in-law, Pete (Jaunita) Hardin.
