Donald Allen Alderink, age of 90 of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 15, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Myrtle Alderink and his first wife, Gloria Alderink. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lois Alderink; daughter, Denise (Tom) Rietkerk; grandchildren Kyle (Veronica) Rietkerk and Anna Rietkerk; brother, Russell (Sharon) Alderink; sister, Adrianna Snyder; several nieces and nephews; and special family friends Mark and Terri Portice.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW Grandville, MI. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, at First Reformed Church of Grandville, 3060 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, MI, with visitation at church from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
