Donald J. DeYoung

DE YOUNG - Donald J. DeYoung, age 91, of Jenison, went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, November 25, 2007. Welcoming him in heaven is his wife, Arlene Barendse DeYoung who passed away November 23, 2006 and his brothers, Tony, Jim, and Gene.

Their children, Gord and Mary Bosker of Jenison and Mick and Marie DeYoung of Charlotte, NC.; grandchildren, great grandchildren; sister Wilma Osterink; and sisters-in-law, Jenette DeYoung and Esther Smith will always remember the legacy of their earthly life and celebrate their new life together in heaven.

Sincere gratitude is extended to the staff of Oakcrest Manor-Cherrywood and Faith Hospice for their professional care.

A service of remembrance and Christian hope will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cook Memorial Chapel -4235 Prairie SW - Grandville - East building, with Rev. Shawn Hulst officiating.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5 - 8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home - Grandville West building.
