Donald W. Walker

He was employed by Spartan Stores for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his son David. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sharon; children, Donald H. and Ella Walker, Karen and Michael Marrah, Dennis and Beth Walker, Jeanne Cole, Kathy and Karl Kimmerer, Paul and Barb Walker, Theresa Walker, Lisa Walker; 21 grandchildren; one great grandson; mother-in-law Arlene Garant; a sister Elta and Bruce Babbitt; brothers, Keith and Mary Ella Walker, Jack and Shirley Walker, Bernard and Mary Walker, Jim and Karen Walker, Ken and Sandy Walker, Melvin and Angie Walker; brothers-in-law, Ernest and Joyce Garant II, Warren and Marie Garant, and Richard and Andrea Garant.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday from the Bryon Center Chapel of the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St., Byron Center with Rev. Ben Ingebretson officiating. Private family interment. The family will receive relatives and friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center.
