She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Rozema; her mother, Ruth Rozema Gordon; and her son, Ron Hovingh.
Donna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Karin Jo Avery; daughter-in-law, Mary Hovingh; her grandchildren, Kat Hovingh, Michelle (Jason) Matthews, Dylan Hop and fiancee Amanda Foster, Arik Avery, Koby Avery; her great-grandchildren, Dahlia, Graham, Piper, Maeve; and her sister and best friend, Shirley Rozema.
Donna was an avid reader. She also collected various dolls, perfume bottles and other knickknacks.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017, at Cook Funeral Home in Grandville (West building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W.
In honor of Donna, contributions may be made to Kent District Library-Grandville Branch or American Cancer Society.
