Donna Ruth Daly

DALY Hoffmeister – Donna Ruth Daly, age 88, formerly of Grandville, passed away peacefully at Sheldon Meadows on Thursday, July 23, 2009. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, John Daly and her brother, Dr. Frank Hoffmeister.

She was the precious mother of her sons, Dennis Peggy Daly, Bruce Penny Daly, and Tom Becky Daly of North Carolina. She was the grandmother of, Sean Daly, Katie Daly, Megan William Baarman, and Jennifer Eric Elizalde, and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by step grandchildren, Annette Cowdin, Bernadine Joe Kloska, Weston, Colin, and Gavin Vandemerwe; and 5 step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a special former daughter-in-law Linda Daly; and many loving friends.

The funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, Grandville East Building. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Sheldon Meadows who provided excellent care for their mother for the past two years. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville West Building.
