Doris May Reed-Petrie

REED - Doris Reed Petrie, age 81 of Byron Center, went to be with the Lord, Friday, September 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Reed and Carl Petrie. She is survived by her children, Billie (Jacki) Reed, Peggy VandenBerg, Todd (Kristi) Reed, Brian (Becky) Reed, Penny (David) Maleport, Laura (Jeff) Kapteyn; her 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Louise (Art) Phillipus, Charles (Marilyn) Rennison, Verna King and Robert Rennison. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday at First Reformed Church of Byron Center with Pastors Peter Van Elderen, Bill Fernhout. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center 2067 84th St. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookfamilycares.com.
