

GLUPKER (Burgess) Mrs. Dorothy Harriet Glupker, age 94, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Dorothy was born to Harry and Laura (Kreidler) Burgess in Corinth on March 12, 1919. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Glupker, grandson, Nathaniel; great grandsons, Grant, and Hunter; sisters, Marge and Bernice; and her brothers, Myron, Howard, Ray, Lawrence, Ken, Carol, Ernest, Fred, and Gerald.
Surviving are her children, Rodney (Barbara) Glupker, Robert (Dorothy) Glupker, Diane (Roger) Palmbos, and Debra (Mark) Wolf; 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson; sisters, Gladys Bisbee, and Geraldine VanSweden; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Emma Burgess, Jean Burgess, Anne Burgess, Jo Strating, Andy Vander Weide, Gerald Glupker, and Howard (Betty) Glupker; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 AM at First Reformed Church of Byron Center, 8425 Byron Center Ave. SW, Byron Center, with Rev. Peter Van Elderen officiating. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet Dorothy's family Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center.
