Dorothy was preceded in death by her spouse, James Holder.
She will be lovingly missed by her son, Ronald Holder and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dorothy worked at Keeler Brass during World War II, then as an elevator operator at McKay Tower before getting married to James.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, it was decided to hold a graveside funeral service. The family will receive relatives and friends for open casket viewing at 10 AM on Friday, June 19, at Floral View Memorial Gardens, 5371 8th Avenue, Grandville, MI 49418. Services will be held at 11 AM at the same location.
In honor of Dorothy and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund.
The family wishes to thank nurses and staff of Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, as well as American House in Jenison, and Allendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, for their loving and compassionate care. Special thanks to the Heartland Hospice team.
The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcares.com.
