Dorothy Holwerda

HOLWERDA WIERENGA - Dorothy Holwerda, age 94 of Jenison, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 28, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Wierenga and Jacob Holwerda; six brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her children, Susan Robert DeVries, Jack Mae Holwerda and Delores Holwerda; grandchildren Troy Liz DeVries, and Kelli DeVries; great grandchildren Andrew and Annabelle DeVries; her brothers Robert Margaret Terpstra and Oscar Terpstra, sister-in-law Esther Terpstra.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Manor 725 Baldwin, with Rev. Jack DeJong officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building 4235 Prairie St. SW and one hour prior to the service at Sunset Manor.
