Dorothy E. Purcell

PURCELL (Stille) a?" Dorothy E. Purcell, age 89, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Purcell; infant daughter, Kimberly Purcell; parents, William and Augusta Stille; son-in-law, Harry Roelofs; and 7 siblings.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kevin "Kipa?? Purcell and Kelly Roelofs; grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Chuck, and Drew Purcell, Ashley and Angela Morey; special friends, Blanche Covert and Martha Heikkinen; sister-in-law, Jean Gust; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Dorothy was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church. The family wishes to give a special thank you to her hospice care givers, John and Shauna.

The funeral service will be held 11 am Monday at Christ Lutheran Church, 2350 - 44th St SW, Wyoming, MI with Pastor Michael Kemper officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (West Building).
