Dorothy Louise Reese

Dorothy Louise Reese (Wohlford), age 87, went to be with her Lord, Friday, October 19, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Reese; parents Clarence and Nellie Wohlford; brothers Loren Wohlford and Jim Wohlford.

She will be lovingly missed by her children (who have never poked an eye out, which was her famous warning) Vickie (Walt) Wheeler and Daniel (Barb) Reese and Cindy (Dave) Muscott; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and another on the way; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Dorothy was born in Montpelier, OH, moved to Grand Rapids, MI and married Lewis in 1951. She retired from Smith Industries after 25 years of service. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held 2-4PM and 6-8PM on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, October 23, 2018 with an hour of visitation prior to the service at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Pastor Steven Swem will be officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery.

In honor of Dorothy and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
