WHALEN - Dorothy M. Whalen, age 90 of Jenison, went to be with her Lord Saturday, July 31, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Sr. Surviving are her children, Harold Louise Whalen Jr. and Betty Hayes; special grandson Scott Hayes; special great granddaughters, Jennifer and Jessica Hayes; and several other grandchildren and great grand children and nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie St. SW. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Lupus Foundation.
