
Douglas was preceded in death by his father H. Jack Ocobock. He is survived by his mother Marcella and Cecil Sturm of Byron Center; brothers and sisters, Jean Marve Dirkse of Buckley, Karen Frank Bartoszek, Nancy Ron Adams, Larry Ocobock, all of Jamestown, Jack Brenda Ocobock of Kingsley, Beth Jim Nickles also of Jamestown; step brothers and sisters, Janice Slyker of Spartanburg, SC, Thomas J. Mary Sturm of Rochester Hills, Judy Mark Crawford of Kentwood, William Linda Sturm of Caledonia, Joseph Sturm of Kenwood, Shelly Jim Oostdyk of Jamestown, Lt. Jeffrey Anna Sturm of Norfolk, VA; many loving nieces and nephews; and a very special friend Emily McGregor.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 11 a.m., from St. Sebastian Catholic Church 9408 Wilson SW, Byron Center, MI 49315 - Please meet at church, with Msgr. Gaspar Ancona celebrant. Interment Jamestown Cemetery. The family will meet relatives and friends on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook funeral Home - Byron Center 2067 84th St.. Vigil service Monday evening 7 p.m. from the funeral home.
