Douglas Roger Van Tuinen Jr.

Douglas Roger Van Tuinen Jr., age 62, unexpectedly went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Roger Van Tuinen Sr. He will be remembered by his children Douglas Van Tuinen III, Benjamin Van Tuinen; stepdaughter, Danielle Rees; grandchildren Blakely, Stella, Maxwell, Mila, Ben, Hailey, Rainen, Kloie, Heaven, Grace, Keegan, Emmy, Nova, Jett, Everly, Hazel, and Jack; mother, Judyne Noyes; mom, Judy Van Tuinen; seven sisters, one brother, and their spouses; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Doug loved and lived for his family. His family was his world, and every part of his life revolved around loving, protecting, and laughing with them. He especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren and spoiled them as much as he could.

As most knew, Doug was an over-the-road truck driver, working for several companies, including Van Mile, which was owned by his dad. He last worked for Extreme Transportation Inc., where he logged thousands of miles over the last several years. During his time there, he enjoyed partnering with both his son Douglas and his dad.
