Duane Alan Kooiker

He was preceded in death by his mother and father–in-law Irv and Faye McDuffee; sister and brother-in-law Mary and Chuck VanZytveld, and brother-in-law Lee McDuffee. He is survived by his loving wife Ruth; his children Matthew (Virginia) Kooiker,and Emily (Jason) Seaman; grandchildren Mercedes, Peter and Rozelyn Kooiker; his parents Lavern and Ruth Kooiker; brothers Dave (Nettie) Kooiker and Loren (Tania) Kooiker; sisters Sandy (Ray) Dekker, Theresa (Chad) Glass and Heather Kooiker; in-laws Karen (Bud) Losh, and Sandy (Bob) Gemmen; many nieces, nephews and friends, including special friend, Jerry Sibley.

Duane worked for 37 years for Gordon Food Services. He loved fishing, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors.

A service celebrating Duane’s life will be held at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at 10 a.m., on Friday, December 11, 2015 at South Olive Christian Reformed Church, 6425 120th Ave, Holland, Michigan.
