Dumae Dyer

She was preceded in death by her sons, Walter Dyer of Grandville and Martin Dyer of Phoenix, AZ; and her daughter Leona Hoffmeister of Grandville.

Surviving are her children, Dorothy Jones Mackey of Hudsonville, George Dyer of Hudsonville, Nina Dyer John Singletary of Texas, Iva Jean Pete Smith of Wyoming and Paulette Jack Newberry of Grandville; her 25 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren; her sister Georgia Cummings of Grand Rapids; her daughters-in-law, Mary Fran Dyer of Phoenix, AZ, and Maxine Dyer of Byron Center, MI; and her son-in-law Frank Hoffmeister of Grandville.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cook Memorial Chapel 4235 Prairie St SW - east building with Deacon Tom Jurek officiating. Following Mrs. Dyer’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Michigan or the American Heart Association.
