Ebel John King

KING – Ebel John King "Big John" – 12/12/32 – 7/1/09. We mourn the loss of a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. Yet we rejoice knowing he professed his faith and trust in a loving and forgiving Savior, Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his sparring partner of 54 years, Mary LaMaire King; children, John Karen King, Kristine John Hilliker, Barbara Leys Roger Boeske, and David Kari King; his 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and sisters, Francis Paul Jeltema, Beatrice Jim Zuppa, and Madeline Trailer.

The funeral service will be held 7 pm Friday at the Cook Memorial Chapel – 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville East Building with Pastor Charles Walker officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday from 1-3 and 5-7 pm at the Cook Memorial Chapel.
