On Wednesday, October, 15, 2003, at the age of 97, God has granted her heart’s desire - to join her husband, Zwier; her son, LaVerne; her daughter-in-law, Geraldine Snoeyink; her son-in-law, Harry Oosterhouse, and two grandsons, Doug and Mark, all of whom preceded her into Heaven.
Surviving are her 120 offspring, including her children, Shirley Oosterhouse of Waupun, WI, Cal and Thelma Snoeyink, Al and Dolly Snoeyink, Arnie and Shirl Snoeyink, Barb and Leon Oosterink and Marilyn Snoeyink Koole; her 25 grandchildren; her 69 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. She had a special place for each of them in her heart. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Kuyers and her brother, Rev. Chester Postma.
Besides her love for her extended family, we will remember her for her love of home cooked meals, home made bake goods, veggies fresh from the garden, delicate handiwork, and many other indicators of a hardworking, simple, honest, God-honoring life.
