
Edward was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Johanna; four sons, Robert Ruth Vander Kam of Dutton, Gordon Sue Vander Kam of Byron Center, Jerry Glenda Vander Kam of Kona, HI, Claire Kathy Vander Kam of Moline; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Elaine Vander Kam of Kalamazoo, Martha Homrich of McAllen, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Friday 2 p.m. from the Byron Center First Christian Reformed Church 2450 85th St. SW, with Rev. Thomas Groelsema officiating. Interment Winchester Cemetery.
The family will meet with relatives and friends Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center 2067 84th St..
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland Home or Byron Christian Schools.
