Edward Vandyk

VANDYK – Edward VanDyk, age 88, of Shelby, MI formerly of Wyoming, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia VanDyk and sons-in-law, Robert Wilcox and Randy Essebaggers. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Cheri Sturtevant, Patricia Howard Brondyke, Terri Essebaggers, Kathi Tom Meyer, and Scott Cheryl VanDyk; grandchildren, Randy and Brian Sturtevant, Todd Tammy Brondyke, Troy Charity Brondyke, Casey Wilcox, Stephanie Chad Seelye, Allan Rone, and Samantha and Sydney VanDyk; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; siblings, Robert Carol VanDyk, Donna Karsten, Ron VanDyk, and Don Sue VanDyk; sister-in-law, Lila Slagh; long term friend and care giver, Carol Vorase; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, East Building. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Monday one hour before the service.
