GIBSON VREDEVELD - Mrs. Eileen Gibson, age 77 of Grandville, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, November 16, 1999.She is preceded in death by her first husband James and daughter-in-law Karen Beckering. Surviving are her husband Bradford Gibson; her children, Nancy and Richard Copp of Novi, Mary and John Filush of Hudsonville, Rev. James Beckering of Hickory Hills, IL, Jan and Ken Woods of Savannah, TN; her stepsons, Robert Gibson of NM, William and Judy Gibson of CO; 13 grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and cousins.Funeral service will be held noon Friday at Grandville First Reformed Church with Dr. Douglas VanBronkhorst and her son Rev. James Beckering officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Memorial contributions to American Cancer Society or Grandville First Reformed Scholarship Fund.Visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Cook Funeral Home west building, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, and Friday 11 to 11:45 a.m. at Grandville First Reformed Church.
