Erika K. Bierfeldt

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Bud and Louise Bierfeldt and Ted Eerdmans; aunt, Judy Stokes, and uncle, Denny Freas.

She leaves to cherish her memory her bereft parents Al and Ingrid Bierfeldt; brother, Alex; grandmother, Martha Eerdmans; aunts and uncles Kay Freas, Darlene (Steve) Bodish, and Rick (Monica) Eerdmans; and many cousins.

Erika had many passions including photography, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, travel, holidays, the color purple, animals including her cat companion of 18 years, Tye-Dye, collecting turtles and snowmen, MSU Basketball, mini-golf in Myrtle Beach, and spending time with her best friend, Rebecca, and special friend, Diana. Erika was kind, ever polite and bravely dealt with the many life challenges she faced.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 3655 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 10 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

In memory of Erika and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crash’s Landing or Bethel Lutheran Church.
