Eugene Bronkema

BRONKEMA - Mr. Eugene Bronkema, age 69 of Jenison and Palmetto, FL, went to be with his Lord Monday, July 17, 2000. Gene was preceded in death by his grandson Cole Bronkema. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Frances; his children, Shirley and Steve Shepard, Roy and Nancy Bronkema, Peggy and Dave Snellink, Christy Johnson, Ray and Corinne Bronkema, Henry and Lisa Bronkema; 21 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his brothers and sister, Jay Bronkema, Rev. Bill and Ruth Bronkema, Ken and Vonda Bronkema, Joanne and Nick Terpstra, Jim and Cathy Bronkema, Randy and Beth Bronkema; several brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Friday 1 p.m. from the Cook Memorial Chapel east building with Pastors Thomas Cavanaugh and Dr. Richard Koole officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.

The family will meet with relatives and friends Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home-Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW west building. Memorial contributions may be left to Highway Melodies.
