Eugene "Gene" Davis

DAVIS Eugene "Gene" Davis, age 74, passed away, Sunday, June 2, 2013, at his home. Gene will be lovingly remembered by his children, Mark (Joanna) Bos, Nanette (Jerry) Casha, Yvonne (Ralph) Gonzalez; his step-children; his best friend and significant other, Dorothy Rowe and her children; his brother, Aldo Davis; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Geno was a member of many organizations, including the AmVets, Moose Lodge, Howard City Conservation Club, Righteous Company M/C and the NRA. He loved being outside. He worked tirelessly on keeping dandelions out of his lawn. Joe enjoyed shooting sports, fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, camping, going to flea markets and tinkering with just about anything.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Thursday at Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (west building). Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, June 7, at Cook Memorial Chapel (east building). Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. In honor of Gene, contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, The Salvation Army or The Smile Train.
