Eugene D. Woroniecki

WORONIECKI - Eugene D. Woroniecki, age 82, left his earthly home on Wednesday, April 16 to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alexandra (Grego) Woroniecki, grandsons Lucas Woroniecki and Brandon J. Turner, great-grandson Liam Woroniecki and brother-in-law Dick Broton.

Eugene is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joan Woroniecki (Gebora) and his 10 children, Joan, Tom, David, Julie, Joe, Jeanine, Ken, Shell, Tim and Amy, as well as 20 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and his sister Joan Broton (Woroniecki). He was a great father to his children and even to those his children brought home. He was a carver by trade and loved hunting and fishing. He taught his children and others the safety and fun of nature and how to hunt and fish. He will be greatly missed by many. Oh, the memories we have of him.

Visitation with the family will be held 10-11 A.M. on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville. Funeral service will be at 11 A.M. Monday, immediately following visitation, with Rev. Rick South officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park.
