Evelyn Louise Coleman

COLEMAN - Evelyn Louise Coleman, age 80, of Wyoming, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007. Evelyn was born in Grand Rapids, June 5th 1926, to Floyd and Aenone Courson McCullough. She married Louis A. Coleman, Jr., in Grand Rapids, in 1946; he passed away in 1996. They had five children all of whom are surviving: The Rev. Linda David Looney of Grandville, Louis III Helen Coleman of Kalamazoo, Larry Gayle Coleman of Belmont, Lizabeth Coleman-Smith Rev. Dr. David Lee Smith of Grandville, Les Elizabeth Coleman of Grand Rapids; also surviving are 14 grandchildren: Helen Martell, Ronald Kris Martell, David Shannon Looney, Robert Amy Looney, Melissa Mark Hodges, Mary Terry Foster, Craig Coleman, Curtis Coleman, Laura Aaron Schreiber, Anna fiancAC. Grant Price Gerard, Jacob Gerard, Marc Brandy Coleman, Lisa fiancAC. Ryan Maillet Coleman, Kenneth fiancAC. Alexandra Rivette Coleman; her 8 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Virginia Clarence Dood, nieces, nephews and many very dear friends.

Visitation and viewing will be held Sunday, April 15 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at the Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, 4010 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Grand Rapids.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Plymouth Church, with the Rev. Douglas Van Doren, Rev. Linda Looney and Rev. Dr. David Lee Smith officiating.
