She was preceded in death by her husband, James Vander Moore, Sr.
She is survived by children Douglas (Phyllis) Vander Moore, Ruth Ann Bouma, Nancy (Larry) Lee, and James Vander Moore, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; many great- and great-great grandchildren; siblings Lyle (Ruth) Salmon, Virginia Salmon, Frank Brown, Betty Baareman (friend Kenny), Glenn (Sandy) Salmon; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St., Byron Center, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the funeral home, with visitation from 10 - 10:45 prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hanley CRC or the American Heart Association.
