Frances J. Matheson, age 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Marion Jones; husband, Thomas Matheson; sister, Mildred Silva. She will be lovingly missed by her children Carolyn Matheson, Susan (Tammy) Matheson, James (Aileen) Matheson, Mary Jo Matheson, Gregory (Shanna) Matheson, Glenn Matheson; grandchildren Lauren Matheson, Jessica (Michael) DeJarnett, Nicholas Matheson, Michael Matheson, Addison Matheson, Alexandra Matheson; great-grandchildren Taylor, Lucy, Tate.
Visitation with Frances’ family and friends will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville. Funeral services for Frances will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022, with visitation beginning at 12 p.m., at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
