

Although our hearts are breaking, we are rejoicing that she is free from the grips of Alzheimer’s Disease. Frances was born November 2, 1924 in Denver, CO to Abner and Maude Keeney.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward; daughters, Patricia Ann Steele and Karen Lynn Johnson; and brothers, Vernon, Ervin, Bob, and Junior.
Surviving are her loving daughters, Jan (Dave) Hocking, and Becky (Dave) Rittersdorf; and sister, Shirley Howard of Colorado. She will be deeply missed by 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, with Rev. Lee Buer officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the time of her service.
