He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn; his son James and Lois Hart; grandchildren, Jason, Kyle and Sarah Hart; brother Donald and Vivian Hart Jr., sister, Marjorie Hart, sisters-in-law Ruthmary Coohon and Shirley Veen, brother-in-law James C. Veen Jr.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Cook Funeral Home, Jenison, 1889 Baldwin. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and 1 hour prior to service Saturday at the Cook Funeral Home, Jenison.
