Frederick "Fred" Osborn

OSBORN Mr. Frederick "Fred" Osborn, age 84, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014. Fred was born August 20, 1929 in Bay City, MI. He served his country proudly with the US Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold (Alma) Crane; adoptive parents, Frederick and Minnie Osborn; siblings, Janet, Don, and Nick; and step children, Jane and Jim.

Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Jessie; the mother of his children and his friend, Nancy; children, Debbie (Steve) Weaver, Fred D. Osborn, Teri (Dan) Westra, Cindi (Charlie) Schwartz, and Jan Sage; step children, Marge, Thelma, Barb, Ted, Loren, and Eric; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brothers, Bob and Gary Crane; and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet with his family Friday, August 22, 2014, beginning at 3 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, and are also invited to his Celebration of Life Service beginning at 4 PM at the chapel.
