On Wednesday, March 23, 2022, Fred Persenaire went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gail Persenaire; children Steve (Debbie) Persenaire and Karen (Rick) Foote; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; siblings Eleanor Cooper and Joan (Herm) Fransen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Fred proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. Fred will be remembered as a man who loved and served his Savior, Jesus. Fred taught Sunday School at Wyoming Park Bible Fellowship for 65 years and served on the board as a deacon and elder for 50 years. Fred and his wife Gail have a love of spreading the gospel by supporting many missionaries. Fred was a wonderful example of how to be a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family, and friends, laughing, fishing and golfing. Fred will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Wyoming Park Bible Fellowship, 2260 Porter St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49519.
