Condolences to the Reda family. I always appreciated Garry's helpful attitude toward us in the Parks and Rec Dept. 201 Market Bldg. He mostly had to deal with us when we were complaining about something, but he always responded with a smile. I was on a committee that was assigned to find ways of improving the building operations function, and was very impressed with all of Garry's insight and with the positive suggestions he made while he was the acting director.

I had the pleasure of working with Garry his last year at the City, as I work for the company that provides janitorial services there. Garry was always pleasant, always a gentleman, and even when he had to give me the complaints, he made me feel like he was on our side. I was happy for him when he was retiring so early... all those years left to "have fun". He seemed so excited about it. My deepest condolences to his family. I can't believe he is gone. The world has truly lost a gentle man and a good soul.
