My condolences to the Bussis family. Gary played on our 1966 SKRA championship baseball team & his father was our scorekeeper. I have a team composite which I will try to upload. Thoughts & prayers.

I’m here because Gary played on our 1966 SKRA championship team but I remember you & Billy Carr we’re friends. I understand he passed quite awhile ago. Wow, how the yrs do fly by.    dc

Where do I start? Sorry I can"t be there but here goes and it may be a book.

Gary was more like a brother than a friend to the point his mom still calls me #2.

I guess we first met in cub scouts. I remember Tony being the scoutmaster and having the meetings at their house.

We kind of broke away from each other until about my senior year in high school. He was on the football team and I was the manager. We started hanging out together and I started going on trailer rallies with the family.We had a great time trying out snowmobiles.
I actually spent more time with them than my own family.

On one occasion we went to Indiana. Gary and I each had a guitar neither of which either one of us knew how to play so we we just went around with a "twang".We happen to meet a couple of girls.I dated one for about six months. I remember this one time we were going to take the bus to go see her. Gary had been to a funeral and made the bus just in time.On the way down he asked me if I wanted a ham sandwich. I thought he was kidding but he pulled one out of his pocket.then he asked me if I waned a cookie and pulled that out of his other pocket. Always a joker he asked me if I wanted a glass of milk.No he did't have that.

Gary and I took many weekend road trips. One comes to mind where I believe we went to the Bavarian Festival in Frankenmuth. On the way back we were driving thru Ionia.I woke up to find Gary almost picking up a hitch hiker on my side of the car with towel rapped around his bleeding hand. I told him to step on the gas.Not too much further down the road the hood of the car flew open and covered the windshield. WE pulled over and put it in the trunk and drove home.When we got home we went to midnight auto parts and got another hood.

We continued our friendship even though I moved out to Arizona.The first time the family came back for a visit Rose and Gary threw a pig roast so we could see all of our friends at one place.

I could go on but I think I have said enough.

Gary my brother you will be missed!!!!!

We will greatly miss Gary at our annual Litestar/Pulse gathering in Marion Indiana. His love for the vehicle was readily apparent and he always tried to bring his beloved Goldie to our rallies. Without his photos, our published program would have been incomplete. The coins he had made to commemorate Jim Bede, the Llitestar/Pulse autocycle and the BD-5  kit plane are a tribute to his passion for our unofficial organization. Deepest condolences to his mother, his children and grandchildren, his siblings and all other family members and friends.

Gary was a regular customer of our Di's Hallmark store in Grandville. He was always someone that we enjoyed seeing come around. No matter what life brought him, he always had a smile on his face. We really do believe he enjoyed visiting us as much as we enjoyed having him in our store. Whenever there was a sale or promotion going on we would ask each other where is Gary if we have not seen him stop by. And as soon as we would wonder where he was, he would walk through our door. Gary had a larger than life personality and we will miss his visits and his smile. We are thinking of his family at this difficult time. From the ladies at the Di's Hallmark Grandville store.

My husband and I enjoyed Gary at the rallies every Fall.  He became a good friend. I remember him for his cheerful laugh and never ending smile. He was a big help to me as the photographer for our events and always brightened the room with his positive energy. He will always be in our hearts.

Gary joined our Litestar/Pulse Owners Group as a shy, introverted person.  It was difficult for him to talk to anyone.  But, as our group does, we welcomed him.with opened arms and he came out of his shell.  He endured a lot during his life but was always kind and giving.  We will miss him and his humor and know that he is with God now.

Gary was so dedicated to our Pulse Autocycle group. He had a heart of gold. Sometimes misunderstood, he had endured a lot of trials & tribulations in his life. He will be sorely missed by us for sure. He was a phenomenal photographer & he chronicled many of our Autocycle rallies in Marion, Indiana. Thank you Gary our friend. I will never forget your unselfish ways & willingness to contribute any way you could.
