Gary Alan Cook Sr.

Gary Alan Cook Sr., age 69, went to be with his Heavenly family Thursday, November 20, 2025. Gary was preceded in death by his parents. He will be remembered by his children Gary Cook Jr., Melissa Castillo, and Robert Castillo; siblings Carol Johnson, Bud Cook, and Larry (Butch) Cook; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

He was a great man who loved to joke, laugh, and have a good time. The thing he valued most in his life was family. Gary would always call and check up on everyone. He always put his family first and cared so much for them and his friends and even his neighbors. He enjoyed each day and lived the life he wanted, his way.

Visitation and celebration of life with friends and relatives will take place from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, MI 49418.
