George William Cook Sr.

George William Cook Sr., age 95, went to be with his Lord on Friday, January 1, 2021.
George served in the US Army as a Private in WWII. He then married Pearle M. Hudson and had six children. George was employed as a die setter at General Motors until he retired. George enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading and spending time with his family.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Pearle M. Cook, one son, Gerald D. Cook, his sister, Lola Mills, and one brother, Harry Cook. He will be remembered by his children George W. Cook Jr. (Victoria), Beverly T. Cook, Marilyn L. Cook, Cheryl D. Cook, and Coren S. Cook; grandchildren Bryan (Erin) Earvin, Garren (Reaiah) Earvin from Petoskey, MI., Mayah (Jashua) Bischoff from Zeeland, MI., Monica S. Cook, Jermaine T. Cook, and Desmond T. Cook; great-grandchildren Mackenzye R. Bischoff, Zoe E. Earvin, Carter L. Bischoff, Harper M. Bischoff, Lauryn E. Earvin, Demetria L. (Anthony) Baskin, Quazaay L. Cook, Marcheay C. Cook, Mi’kayla S. Cook, DeQuavis S. Cook, Tavian S. Cook, Najae’ S. Cook, Jade E. Cook, Nevaeh L. R. Cook and Desmond T. Cook Jr; great-great-grandchildren George Q. Hunter IV, Ileayah E. S. Baskin, Ah’shiya N.L. Baskin, Nyree M.B. Baskin, and Jeremiah A. Cook; nieces, nephews and many friends.
