Surviving are his daughters, Arlene Donald Timmer and Joan Evers; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St. SW in Grandville, with Rev. Tim McGarvey officiating.

The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building, Grandville.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or the American Heart Association.
