He was preceded in death by his parents George and Roseanne Moore; sister, Joyce Moore and his uncle, Gilbert Stebins.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 47 years, Susan Moore; his son, George (Jolene) Moore; grandchildren James and Ashley and brothers, sisters and many nieces, nephews and friends.
George loved classic cars, going to races and spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Cook Funeral Home – Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315 with visitation from 12 – 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
In memory of George and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
