Georgia was a retired elementary school teacher. She was a member of Parkwood Presbyterian Church in Jenison and was active in many Masonic organizations, including being a lifetime member in the Order of the Eastern Star (Peninsular Chapter #65) and a past president of the Social Order of the Beauceant. She enjoyed music, crafts, gardening and traveling. Georgia loved being a mother and grandmother and was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She tried very hard to lead a good life with friends and family. She always tried to laugh at life's challenges and not complain. Georgia exemplified to the people in her life how to be strong no matter the obstacles one faced.
