Jerry Fryling, age 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 7, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bev Fryling; brother, Robert Fryling; grandson, Joshua Fryling; and sister-in-law, Pat Dewitt.
He is survived by his children Deb (Jim) Freeman, Dawn Webber, Doug (Kim) Fryling; grandchildren Stacey (Cameron) Clemens, Ashley (Marshall) Bruursema, Jacob and Zachary Fryling, Libby (Jeremy) Grotenhuis, Logan Weber; great-grandchildren Vivian and Lincoln Bruursema, Lucy Clemens; sister, Virginia (Don) Kalawart; in-laws Bert (Karyl) Van Dis, Jack (Linda) De Witt, Glenn (Cris) Vander Ploeg, Vicki Sterken; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jerry spent 40 plus years working for Fryling Construction and continued working many years after his “retirement.” He was a genuine car lover and spent years fixing up and restoring various cars. He and Bev spent many years at Sandy Pines in their motor home. He was also a very avid Grandville football fan.
