He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gene; his family, Luann, Doug, Daniel and Abby De Vries; Dave, Sharon, David, Kathy, Melissa, Jessica, and Symantha Postma; Kelly, Ryan, Elin and Rylee Mc Clure; Dale, Aaron, Jeri, Nathan and Mia Postma; Mendy, Ty, Eden, Renee and Brooke Hacker. His sisters and brothers, Greta Petersen, Jeanne and Harvey Poel; Bern and Ann Wychers; sister-in-law Phyllis Blik; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and June Blik, Don and JoAnn Blik, and Ruth and Bob Terveen; and many special nieces and nephews and a very special cousin, Helen and Donald Mellema.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m on Saturday, January 11 from the Woodhaven Reformed Church 3959 68th St SW with Dr. Dann Stouten officiating.

Interment will be at the Rosedale Memorial Park.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th SW in Byron Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to Byron Community Ministries or the Building Fund of the Woodhaven Reformed Church.
