She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Weston; her sister Ruth, her husband Robert and a daughter-in-law, Jill.
Surviving are her children Robert (Carol) Smith, Sally (Bill) Shield and Connie (Jon) Meduna; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Gerry and Robert lived in Manistee for years where she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She moved to Hudsonville as a widow where she became a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Jenison.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 12 p.m. noon at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1481 Baldwin Street, Jenison, MI. The service will be preceded by a visitation at 11 a.m.
