Glenn Dys, age 70, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 9, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marijo Dys; children Dan (Karen) Dys and Kathy (Robert) DeJong; grandchildren Ashlyn, Anden, Logan, Landon, and Carter; siblings Pete (Pat) Dys, Al (Linda) Dys, Nelva (Dick) Vogel, John (Tina) Dys; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Glenn proudly served his country in the United States Army. “What do we say about a man that came from nothing and became everything?" He was a passionate man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren more than life itself. He had a big giving heart and loved to make people laugh - always seizing an opportunity to make a child happy. Glenn lived a humble and generous life - always finding an opportunity to give, so others would be blessed. Being a cancer survivor twice, he never knew if he would get to see a grandchild, but he was blessed with five beautiful grandchildren whom he adored and loved being around. He loved to golf, spend time at Berlin, watch Nascar, and play cards with his friends. He also loved farming and his tractor. Most importantly, he lived to serve his Lord, his church, and to be a witness and inspiration to all with whom he came into contact.
